Hi,

I have DNN on Windows 2008 R2, IIS 7.5. I reinstalled IIS, do I have to reinstall DNN?

Thank you.

no, but you need to recreate the IIS web site pointing to it and adjust all settings (as long as you kept files and Database)

Thank you for your reply.

Everything else is the same: databases and files.
I did create a new website in IIS with physical path where the dnn files are, and I get the following config error:
"This configuration section cannot be used at this path. This happens when the section is locked at a parent level. Locking is either by default (overrideModeDefault="Deny"), or set explicitly by a location tag with overrideMode="Deny" or the legacy allowOverride="false"."
Is DNN maybe running like a fresh install, trying to configure files and DBs?

Thanks again,
Margarita.

There might be an issue with IIS configuration provided by the hosting company (please contact support) or you are using a different .Net version for your IIS web site than on your previous site.
