Is there a way to disable the DNN help icons sitewide? They often interfere with the site design and sometimes offer little value or just aren't wanted. I haven't found an option to disable in site settings...

As a side note: I tried searching this DNN forum for the answer, which I imagine has already been addressed, but the forum search feature is so poor that it is nearly useless. I really appreciate the core team wanting to keep the action on the DNN site, but please consider updating the forums functionality to be more like it was on ASP.NET! I fear there is so much valuable information that is being wasted.

Hi - you can't disable them- but what you can do - and what I"ve done on a few sites that don't warrant a *help* icon is create a 1 x 1 transparent file - call it help.gif and upload to the root directory under images... then they are there but invisible.

I've done this in a previous version of DNN, but, if I remember correctly, DNN uses the same help icons for all child portals. If so, replacing the help icon with a 1px transparent image would affect all portals in the installation. Is this your experience?

Thanks for your quick reply!
