JG, which table does have a large number of items - Eventlog or sitelog?

Cheers from Germany,

Neither, that's the thing, both seem normal. If I had unusual event log and site log data to work with I'd probably be fine.

The only event log exception I see is a search engine scheduler ThreadAbortException which I have not yet been able to cure, but that exception has occurred only around a dozen times in the past 2 weeks so logging is not the issue it seems.

Site log data is very sparse (the site is for staging purposes i.e. a demo and so is receiving far less traffic than the production instance which is still the original 4.x install)
