How do I update my DNN version ? do I have to re setup wizard steps?

Please see this Wiki entry for an outline of the steps for upgrading:

In particular, take note of the suggested upgrade paths when upgrading from some of the earlier 4.x and 5.x versions. As for the setup wizard, you will not need to re-enter information such as that for the database connection, host/admin user accounts, etc. As indicated in the Wiki, be certain that you create backups of the file system AND database before upgrading.
