Hello.

I use extensively small scripts to display mainly adsense ads in the various areas, using the html module. Now in 6.1 that doesn't work. And i haven't found a way to do it.

If anybody has any ideas, i would appreciate it.

thanks

Costas

did you try placing the script either in Header or footer section of the module (in module settings)?

That works in some case but if you need to "position" your script ... then ?

The best thing i have found in an other cms software, is the use of "constants". You define them in some special module for that, and then you can include them with their name everywhere when using the editor.

for example i could have a script here (if i was an admin) by writing [CONSTANT_NAME] and that would be replaced in runtime.

I see quite a risk in providing replacement option allowing HTML and scripts - that's the reason, why we didn't include this option, when we designed TokenReplace service for DNN. I see a use case for text constants (this is currently missing). Did you already log your enhancement requirements into the issue tracker at support.dotnetnuke.com?

Why not leaving those options unfiltered for Admins ? Turn off raw in html editors for users and leave it for admins ?

No i haven't logged anything, i find gemini a bit hard to use. It is just me i guess ...
