Using Dnn. 6.0 with  TelerikEditorProvider as the default provider.

On a top level page, it works ok and inserts a relative URL.

But on a tier 2 or 3 page, the URL that is saved is not relative and it is not full. It is a partial of the full. Eg.:

on a third tier page, I use the editor to select another third tier page as the link:
Immediately after you do that, and go look at the raw HTML, you see the following:

href="http://integraltravel.com.temp.realssl.com/aboutus/staff/SunnyKlaber.aspx"

Now after you save the HTML module content, and look at what it saved, you see:

href=".temp.realssl.com/aboutus/staff/SunnyKlaber.aspx"

Note how it dropped part of the domain.

Now I also tried this using the FckHtmlEditorProvider editor and it too did the same thing. So hopefully someone knows what would cause this and how to fix it.

So the more I think of it, it seems like DNN is not able to handle parent domain with multiple DOTS in it. For some reason it is only an issue on tier 2 (in relation to the top level menu) or more pages.

Thanks in Advance,
Chad

please note, that FCKEditor provider is dated and not secure. PLease uninstall and use its successor CKEditor instead (http://dnnckeditor.codeplex.com)

Is this a setting that you have to set somewhere in CKeditor?  I have not been able to find it.  I am having similar issues but I also need the URLs to be absolute because the content (with links) will be sent in an email.  Any suggestions on how to make CKEditor use absolute URLs?
