Hi,
I've been working on creating a new skin for our company intranet. (was due a week ago, but I messed up badly, jumping in the deep side)

Figured better head over to SnowCovered and look for a suitable theme, purchase it and modify a few things to match the requirements (which are very simple actually)

Was hoping for some Skin recommendations, so here's a few things I should keep in mind:
1) The DNN site sit on a server with no internet connection.  So the skin style should not have any dependencies on scripts coming from cdn or anything.
2) It should come with source (not sure all do) since I'll obviously be requested to change this and that.
3) Should work with I E8 well (rounded corners in IE8 drove me bananas)
4) Most importantly, the site contain a lot of custom modules which are mostly forms employees fill out.  The skin should have styles that make forms look user friendly.....or perhaps that's just me being picky, so might not be that important?

I'm currently looking around on Snowcovered.....just concerned I pick a nice (and not so cheap...it's coming from my own pocket) skin, and then it turns out not to be suitable (plan to get it today and tomorrow convert the one module I have that need to make use of this skin to use the "new" styles.

Thanks in advance,
Krok

The thing to understand about skins is that they wont really effect the look of your individual modules.
Skins are basically wrappers around your content - sure they can set default text colors and sizes - but for a custom module based around a form - the skin wont do a great like to alter the appearance setup by the core module.
