Hi DNN folks,

It's required from me to provide or develop an online solution for products advertising  includes the following specifications:

1- multiple stores: each store could has and shows its own products and its own profile..and if possible, each store may has its own style.
2- the stores must be categorized according to business type
3- website home page is a central view for all stores.
4- website should support Master/Slave hierarchy for stores, like a mall and its shops.
5- provide filters for easing the search, (e.g. price filter, brand filter ..etc.)

Can DNN 6 fulfilling my needs or I have to develop my own modules?

May you please guide me to put my first steps on the right track.

Hi,

It sounds like a portal for each store would do most of what you need.  You may have to write a module for the home page if you wish to show products from all stores and for the search.

well..with portal for each store could I have Master-Slave hierarchy, and what about  stores categorizing, is it supported?

DNN does have an e-commerce module but I haven't reviewed it in depth but I was able to create categories and place products within them.

My suggestion is to add that module to a page and test it.
