I have a requirement to reconfigure the controls of a module during an upgrade installation. Essentially, the latest version of the module introduces a new control, and this control needs to have a null key. The control in the previous version with the null key needs to be given a new key.

How can I do this? It appears that the database script that is applied during the upgrade cannot help, as they are executed after the manifest is updated. When the upgrade package is installed, it throws the following error (below). Can anyone tell me how this can be achieved, please?

As it turns out, the error was caused by a mistake in the manifest file. Once I sorted that, it the package installed exactly as I wanted it.
