Forgive me if the question has already been asked, but I'm new to DNN.

I've done a quick search, but I've been unable to find anything on form submission modules.  Are they standard with DNN?  Are there modules available for purchase/download?  I'm using DNN 6 and have a couple of pages that would be e-mail submission forms (check a box, fill in a quantity, submit e-mail, etc).  Or is it just better to develop with HTML/Dreamweaver?

Thanks in advance.

Jim,

You might want to check out Dynamic Forms from DataSprings, I have a feeling that it might do what you are looking for!

Hi Jim,

For simple forms, Helferlein Form (http://helferleinform.codeplex.com/) may be a solution. It is free and works well in DNN 6.1.

You can use the free Forms and Lists module, you can find it in the More Extensions Tab under Host/Extensions.

Thanks for the assistance. It's actually created another problem for me: setting up my SMTP server. My server and port settings are accurate, but when I test it, I get the following error message:

"There has been an error trying to send the test email. The error is:
There is a problem with the configuration of your SMTP Server. Mail was not sent."

If, to the best of my knowledge, the settings are accurate, what would my next step be?
