I have upgraded my DNN website (DotNetNuke Community Edition 05.05.01) to the new edition (DotNetNuke Enterprise Edition 6.0.1) by executing the upgrade package (DotNetNuke_Enterprise_06.00.01_Upgrade.zip), which I have downloaded from the DNN website.

The problem here is I am not able to enter my license details to activate this website. Please find below the error message that I am getting

"You are using an unlicensed and unsupported version of DotNetNuke Enterprise Edition. Please contact sales@dnncorp.com for information on how to obtain a valid license."

I have also tried the "Activate Your License" section under "Host settings", but got a message saying "This feature is not available in the community edition"

Not sure whether this is because of any installation problem. Please help me to resolve this issue.

if you install an upgrade for Enterprise version, you switched to the commercial version of DotNetNuke. I suggest restoring files and database backup from before the upgrade and upgrade using Community Edition from dotnetnuke.codeplex.com. you may upgrade to 6.0.2 or wait for 6.1.1.

The issue here is, we are not able to register our development license key using the "Activate Your License" section under "Host settings" since we are getting a message saying, "This feature is not available in the community edition". Is there any procedure that we need to follow  to register our development license key to get rid of this issue? Please help us.

community version does not deal with licensing keys, i.e. you got a mixed version (note: there is no upgrade path from commercial to community versions). Either you need to eliminate remainders from previous version or setup a new site from scratch (using a tempate created from current one).
