We are trying to upgrade our development website (DotNetNuke Community Edition 05.05.01) to the new Enterprise Edition 6.0.1. by running the upgrade package (DotNetNuke_Enterprise_06.00.01_Upgrade.zip) which we have downloaded from the DNN website.
 
After executing the upgrade package, we got a message as given below while accessing the website, 
 
"You are using an unlicensed and unsupported version of DotNetNuke Enterprise Edition. Please contact sales@dnncorp.com for information on how to obtain a valid license."
 
When we tried to register our development license key by using "Activate Your License" section under "Host settings", we got a message which says,
 
"This feature is not available in the community edition". 
  
There is no option to enter the license key. Not sure whether this issue is because of any installation problem. Please let us know the options available to resolve this issue.

you need a demo or active licence for running the commercial Enterprise version.
If you just try to upgrade CE, please use upgrade package from dotnetnuke.codeplex.com

We have used the upgrade package to convert our existing development website from Community edition 05.05.01 to the Enterprise version 06.00.01 and please find below the message that we got while installing. The issue here is, we are not able to register our development license key using the "Activate Your License" section under "Host settings" since we are getting a message saying, "This feature is not available in the community edition".
Could you please let us know the procedure to register the license key? (while upgrading from community edition 05.05.01 to enterprise edition 06.00.01).

Is it recommended to convert the Community edition 05.05.01 website to the Enterprise version 06.00.01 using the upgrade package?

We have already purchased the DotNetNuke Enterprise edition and would like to convert our Community edition development website to Enterprise edition by using the license keys that we have.
