Hi dnnukers,

i'm trying to make a  skin object following tihs tutorial http://blog.cartviper.com/post/2011/08/28/Using-Skin-Objects-in-Cart-Viper-e28093-Part-2.aspx
but i think that is missing something so i go to this manual http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Portals/25/Documents/DotNetNuke%20Skinning.pdf

but again i think that is missing something, i install the skin object and there is any problem, but when i go to the productlist.hmt on dnn/templates and put the [SKINOBJECT:PRICINGLOCATION] that i'm defining in the xml in the portal i got this error

An unexpected error has occurred! DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at CartViper.Modules.Store.Catalog.TemplateController.ProcessSkinObjectToken(String tokenName, ProductInfo product, CategoryInfo category, IModuleControl parentModule) at CartViper.Modules.Store.Catalog.TemplateController.ParseTemplate(TemplateInfo templateInfo, ProcessTokenDelegate processTokenDelegate, ProductInfo product, CategoryInfo category, IModuleControl parentModule) at CartViper.Modules.Store.WebControls.ProductDetail.Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) at System.Web.Util.CalliHelper.EventArgFunctionCaller(IntPtr fp, Object o, Object t, EventArgs e) at CartViper.Modules.Store.Components.StoreControlBase.OnLoad(EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

the ddl is in the bin folder on the dnn portal

thanks for your help and your attention

sorry, please understand that a template is sth different than a skin. any skin object can only be used in DNN skins, not in other components, templates, schemes or whatever.
