Every time I deploy a HTML module - I need to go into the settings and turn off the display container option. Is there a way to default this to be unchecked? Thanks for any tips.

Any thoughts here? Is this possible?

You can do this by changing the settings, uncheck display container, and then setup the "default" settings under the advanced section, you can also apply that change to all existing modules.

Thank you Chris. This is exactly what I needed. Since I checked that it was a default setting it seems that I should be good from here on out! Much appreciated.

what I do is just create a basic div only no title container and set that as the default container

I never was a fan of the dotn show container because this would put unnecessary spans around the content in previous versions  ( did not check in dnn6 yet ) and this would make invalid code because span is just and inline element and most modules will container block level elements
