Hi,

My upgrade from DNN 6.1.0 to DNN 6.1.1 (Community Edition) was successful overall. But... I got the following Errors related to ild HTML Module. Please notice "Error!" at the end of lines 6, 7, and 8.

00:00:00.593 - Installing Optional Modules:
00:00:00.625 -   Installing Package File DDRMenu_02.00.01_Install:  Success
00:00:05.000 -   Installing Package File DNNCE_HTML_06.01.01_Install:  Success
00:00:06.046 -   Installing Package File DNNCE_Messaging_06.01.01_Install:  Success
00:00:06.468 -   Installing Package File DNNCE_Taxonomy_06.01.01_Install:  Success
00:00:07.109 -   Installing Package File HTML_Community_05.06.01_Install:  Error!
00:00:07.296 -   Installing Package File Messaging_05.06.01_Install:  Error!
00:00:07.390 -   Installing Package File Taxonomy_05.06.01_Install:  Error!
00:00:07.468 -   Installing Package File Telerik_06.01.00_Install:  Success

Now that we have DNNCE versions of HTML, Messaging, and Taxonomy modules, should I still keep the old versions (5.06.01)? How are they being dealt by other users? (any best practices)

After upgrading to Telerik editor, I thought we will have much better experience with better features. While it does have more features, overall experience with managing large amounts of html content with many anchors, internal links, external links, images, documents, etc. is NOT very good :)

Work done once disappears by next time I visit the module or it has inconsistent behavior....

Any tips / guidance in leveraging the new HTML module are greatly appreciated.

Thanks a lot in advance!

VJ

You should remove the older versions of those modules that are attempting to install, they are in the install/module folder. They are failing because they are old versions. You might need to reinstall the 6.1.1 versions of the modules

When you say work is disappearing, can you consistently reproduce that? I haven't seen content go missing within my sites using the HTML module.
