Site is still growing in size, resolved issue was freezing problem related to older skin not properly installing. Still need to resolve site size as it slows down site when it becomes large and also eats up hosting limits. Size has gone from 150 mb to 600 mb in 6 months? All of my DNN sites are doing this at same host, non DNN sites do not. I have reported this problem for at least five years.

Thanks

Costas Memory is not a stable option for shared hosting environments. Tested and can cause real trouble.

Of cource it is stable. Do not spead such misinformation.

I run 3+ DNN on shared hosting for 18 months and never had any problem related to what you say. I use a 100 mb dedicated pool and Net4 and runs very well.

Calm down, boys. As far as I know Ismet, this was meant to be a joke, not an injury. IMHO the community benefits from contributions from both of you and I'd expect we are all "white guys", trying to support the community - thanks to you both for it!

Cheers from Germany,

Costas, I see that you are using a 100 mb dedicated application pool, but some shared hosting providers will use same app pool for many applications/clients. In this case, if one to use memory than there could be a possibility to break all websites. Maybe i made a mistake to make it general but i was trying to cover when a shared app pool is used.
