I'm a youth director for a church and we have been hosting our youth website at godaddy.com.  It is a simple HTML.  I saw that godaddy offers dotnetnuke, so I decided to give it a try, but some features do not seem to be available.  godaddy says that there are 'lots of modules' to add and I see them, but how do I add them to my site?  I need a photo gallery and blogging available.

I'm also frustrated by the event calendar.  I have a page setup to show the month view, but I also want a list of upcoming events on the front page - but recurring events show up with the starting date, not the upcoming date (in list view).  Any ideas?

Well.......I would suggest the purchase of one of the books on DNN or download the latest version of the docs.  Much of what you ask is in one of those sources. My personal library has grown considerably in the last few months because of DNN and ASP.NET.  The modules you require can be purchase at storefronts like www.snowcovered.com and there are some free modules out there.......but you will have to look. Adding a module is simple.....you must log on as host and select module definition from the host menu....you then upload the zip file and it installs itself.  I can't answer your problem regarding the event calendar as I really haven't used it yet.   Feel free to ask questions.....that is one of the better ways to get a quick answer...I will help if I can.
