Hi All,

I am trying DNN for the first time, i have downloaded the 6.01.01 installer and trying to install it on my notebook with windows 7 and SQL server 2008 R2. once i provide the credentials for SQL server, it says Building your database and progress bar keep on installing. I am trying this almost since 20 times. Please suggest.

nstalling database - version 06.00.00 ...success

undefined...success this is what i see on my screen last 45 mins....

please check you've installed .net 3.5sp1 - if it's not installed the ajax will not work and will not update the progress indicator.

Good Morning and Thanks mate! i could see the progress bar keep on moving and i have VS.Net 2010 in my machine with AJAX.

is there any way i can send the screen shots?. Thanks you again.

Since last 45 mins i could see progress bar moving with installing database -version 06.00.00...success

undefined... success 

this undefined ... success is repeated more than 500 times.....

however next button is not enabled...

Sorry to repeat myself, but the only time I've seen something similar is when Microsoft's Ajax library was not installed i.e. .net 3.5sp1 was not installed on the server. I recommend you check and install it and then delete the database, create a new blank one and try again.

Thanks for your suggestion.

After number of times (more than 50) i am able to setup my site finally. issue seems to be with the way my SQL Server is being setup. i am happy to see that at the end i got the result. Thank You very Much
