G'Day Guys,

I am using DNN 6.1.1.  I want to add the "User Accounts" module to a page and give "view module" access to it for one trusted user in the Human Resources dept.  I read that this can be done in DNN 5.0 and greater.  However when I go to add the module to the page it does not appear in the list of admin modules.  Almost all of the other ones do (File manager, Extensions, Languages, Site Log, Skins, etc) - 20 admin modules in all appear, however the "User Accounts" module does not appear.  How do I get a "User Accounts" module to appear in the "Add New Module" drop down list.  If that can't be done then how do I get the module onto a new page?

Thanks in Advance.

Ian.

Hi, the User Accounts module is included with the Users and Roles module, you just need to delete the Security Roles and Add New User modules that get installed with it.

Thanks for helping.

For others that may be searching for the "Users and Roles" module, you have to go to Extensions, click on edit "Users and Roles" module, and select the portal that  you want it made available to.

Cheers

Ian.

You may want to look at the totally excellent and free DNNWerk Users module http://dnnusers.codeplex.com/

It looks better and provides a great deal more control and "usability".   I would not be surprised to see this as part of the core soon like Philips HTML Config now is.
