hello,

Is there a way to trigger or schedule File Synchronization to happen(except what dnn does)?

Is there an sql script that I could put in the scheduler, so I can do file synchronization?

Is there a way (other than from File Manager) to give the user the ability to do File Synchronization, whenever he desires (module or something)?

I'm interested mostly for v 5.6.x

thank you

Hi,

File Synchronization involves more than SQL actions. I don't think you would be able to have a sql scrip for this.

Best regards,
Horacio.-

filesync is a process within your DNN web site, i.e. you would need to write a page using DNN classes to call the procedure - easiest would be using request mode for the scheduler and frequently call your web site from an external service.
