Hi you all,

how do i move my dnn database if iam not able to give the db name the same name as on my old server.

can i still read the bak file into the new db ?

 

tnxs for any answer

SQL db name (imported BAK ?) doesn 't matter if changed.

if you rename the database, you will need to use name new name in both connections string of your web.config file.
