Hello ,

Im using a DNN ver 5.6.3 and im trying to optimize its performance so i enabled gzip compression doing that all my <asp:imagebuttons> inside my gridviews stoped firing an RowCommand event. Any ideas?

ps the gridview is inside an updatepanel

This and other similar problems are a known issue when enabling any form of compression in Host Settings and continues to be an issue up through the current release, DNN 6.01.01. You will need to return the setting to "No Compression" for now.

Is there any danger in setting the compression settings to No Compression? my hosting company set GZIP as a default.

there are known issues using compression in some of the recent DNN 6 versions.
