I am having the same issue with adding new pages to my DNN6 site.  I ran the script, cleared the cache, restarted the site, etc. but the permissions for "all users" is still locked in.

Am I missing something else?  Please help! thanks!

ericb1: this sounds very strange. please check portals table in the database, whether adminRoleId and registeredRoleID are set correctly.

thanks for the reply.  The RegisteredRoleID was set to 1, but the AdministratorRoleID was set to NULL.  I set it to 1, restarted the application, and now the All Users group is unlocked and I can change it!  Thanks!

However, now the "Registered Users" role is locked in with view and edit permissions, which in my site's case is just as bad because it is an intranet, so "all users" are "registered users" by way of AD authentication.

Is there a way to remove this from the Registered Users group?

thanks so much for the reply

please make sure both values point to the proper records, get the correct id's from table Roles
