I have installed the Forums module 5.0.3 on DNN Community 6.01.01 and have encountered problems with not all users getting "Notification" emails.   I have a user base of 140+ users and have setup the forum as a "Notification Forum", "Private no Moderation with Post Restrictions.  The "notification box" is checked for all "registered users" to get notifications of posts.  I checked the email queue and the emailer seems to send the email as expected except that only send the email to 35 of the 140 registered users.  Another forum is setup the same way and only send an email to 40 of the 140 users. I am not seeing any error codes and wonder if I have something setup wrong or if this is a bug?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Users will only receive emails if they have logged in and viewed the forum at least 1x. The alternative is to 'edit' each user's profile (in the forum module itself using Admin->Users) which will populate the data necessary for them to start receiving forum notifications (it was designed this way).

Chris,

Thanks for the help.  One clarification regarding the "alternative" of editing each user's profile.  Do you mean that I should use the query under the "User Management" portion of Module Admin to list each user.   Once I see the user, then simply pull up their profile and click "update"?  This update will cause the user to start receiving notices?
