Hi,

I have installed DNN 6.0.1.
On some modules I get the message in Module->Settings->cache settings

This module has indicated a recommendation to disable caching (select NONE from the Output Cache Provider list above). Enabling caching on this module is not recommended and may cause the module to display stale data.

Output cache provider is set to "File"
Cache duration in seconds is set to "0"

I set the Output cache provider to "None selected" and update the module
When I look again to this settings, then there is nothing changed.
I get the red warning "Inherited" and it is still set to "File".

Is there someting wrong here?
Somebody can explain what this means?

With regards, Ton Hermes

Has anyone reviewed the db to make sure the setting took hold?

If so, does this mean if we ever tweak the settings for this module again that we must remember to go back and select None Selected or it will change back to File?

Thanks,
Dave
