I am trying to apply the DDR menu as a module so I do not need to create multiple skins for levels of navigation. Is there any documentation on the menu settings?

Node XML Path
Node selection expression
Nodes to include
Nodes to exclude....etc

I am wanting the menu to display only the current parent and children of the current page.

Thanks in advance - fmilitello

Anytime that I need a menu implemented as an actual module, I use Inventua's topmenu or sidemenu. I've found them to be invaluable.

P.S. They work great with DNN 6+, even though it's not mentioned.

With your suggestions I have resolved.
I have set as a parameter "menu styke" file path "menudef.xml" and file type  jquery for the operation of the menu.
