<bump>

Hi - can anyone tell me specifically what I should be looking for in the skin.css file that may be causing this behavior?  The site is running  the latest version of DNN 6.1.2 with nothing changed in the _default\default.css file...

Any help would be greatly appreciated - I really need to get this DNN tooltip issue resolved soon.

Add this to your skin file, see if it helps

.dnnTooltip{z-index:9999!important;}
 I had some issues with it hiding behind the required form labels, so I had to knock those back 1
span.dnnFormMessage.dnnFormError {z-index:9998!important;}
