I need to circumvent loading the admin skin on certain Tabs when a modules trigger edit mode.  I am developing a module that loads specific Tabs from the site in an iframe.  These Tabs are styled with a minimal skin that hides the admin ribbon and has no navigation or banner.  Each Tab has a single Html Module on it.  I have disabled popups so when the Html Module edit action is activated the edit page loads in the iframe but applies the default admin skin.

Unfortunately the admin skin has (and needs) certain elements throughout the entire portal except for in this particular case.  I'm looking for a good way to circumvent this behavior.

Having looked at the source code, I understand that both the QueryString parameter SkinSrc and the cookie _SkinSrc are checked before the default admin skin is loaded.  Cookies are out of the question, and I don't see how I can modify the QueryString from outside the Html Module source.

Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions?

Or if anyone could point me in the direction of some information for dynamically loading module controls from code behind, that might make it so I don't need an iframe at all.

Thanks!,
Gabe
