Hello:

          I'm new to DNN so please bear with me. I installed DNN to my host provider.  Then I have the provider give me file rights and MS SQL rights.  I also set up a virtual directory.  The install went well according to the log:

 

When I go to my site the home page comes up fine. When I try and click on the link to "login" or "home" or "Register" it goes to: "http://www.awaiter.com/Home/tabid/36/ctl/Login/Default.aspx"

And then I get that the page cannot be found. 

 

I attached the install log.  Dose anyone have any Ideas?

I've the same problem! I work worked with DNN 3.x since one year. The local installation on XP Prof IIS5 and MSSQL2000 works fine, but after the installation on my provider when I try to click on 'Login', 'Register', 'Home' I get that the page cannot be found 404 Error. The Web Folder is set to .NET 2.0, Database installation was ok. Do you have a solution for this problem? Is it a IIS Problem or I forgot to set somethings in the web.config file?

Awaiter,

I'm guessing that no .aspx files will run on your site, in which case you need to communicate with your host and they should be able to resolve it for you.  It should be a simple configuration matter on their end.

I would guess there's an issue with the directory structure and the home directory set in IIS.  If you can reply with the URL we can eliminate a few of the possibilities.
