Using dnn 6.1.1 and when a new user goes to the register page there is no indicator for the password length or complexity required.

all it say is "Enter a password"

It should say "Enter a password minimum x characters" where x is taken from the web config.

Currently I'm getting lots of users complaining it takes them forever to figure it out. i've seen this issue reported back to 2005. Surely this could not have been overlooked and I must have a setting wrong somewhere. Any advice on how to fix this? I don't want a custom register page just for this if I can avoid it.

Hi,

maybe you can add this comment to a related issue in gemini:

http://support.dotnetnuke.com/issue/V...

when they make the modifications for it, it is an easy job to take your comments also in consideration.

BR

Olivier
