Hi,

The Module setting Display Module on All Pages is not working correclty for me. 

I've upgraded my site to 6.1.2.  After the upgrade I did a little house cleaning.  I have a couple of modules I want to display on all pages.  I:

  • set them to NOT display on all pages
  • Moved them to a special page (All Pages Modules).
  • set them to display on all pages

They now seem to display on all the Admin menu pages and one other page.  The selection looks random, but it's certainly not ALL pages.

Seaching the Forums reveals a number of problem reports about this feature.  Mostly with much older versions.  It has worked well for me on older versions but this is the first time I have tried to centralise the modules onto one page.  That page is for administrators only. Could that be relevant.  I don't think so as the one other page they show up on is available to everyone.

Anyone else having trouble with this feature?

This is getting worse.  I went back to my central page.  Set a modiule to NOT appear on all pages. Saved settings.

Back into settings, set the module to appear on ALL pages. Saved settings.

Back into settings - the settings page resulutely declares that the module has not been added to any other pages.  It seems to be correct too.  I cannot see it on a selection of other pages.I have checked.

Hi Richard,

We have found the same problem. It's very easy to solve: once you have removed a module from all pages you need to empty the recycle bin; and then you are ready to put this module on all pages again.

This behavior has changed at DNN 5.3, old versions not need to empty the reclycle bin to put a module on all pages after removing it from all pages.
