Hi, Guys

 I would like to know how to remove the Search Function (Box in the upper right corner of the Skin?

Any ideas or suggestions will be appreciated.

you can do this in 2 ways - edit the html and remove the [SEARCH] token and reparse the skin, or edit the ascx directly and remove the control e.g. edit Portals\_default\Skins\DarkKnight , locate the ascx (e.g. Home-Mega-Menu.ascx) and remove

<%@ Register TagPrefix="dnn" TagName="SEARCH" Src="~/Admin/Skins/Search.ascx" %>

and

</div>
                <dnn:SEARCH ID="dnnSearch" runat="server" UseDropDownList="true" EnableTheming="true" Submit="Search" />
      </div>

Hi and thanks for the help.

I succeeded in removing the search box from the home page of the Dark Knight skin by using the instructions in your post.

 But the search box remains on all the other pages in the site. How do I remove all the search boxes from the various pages in the site.

 Thanks in advance

The other pages are most likely using different skins.

Update those skins the same way.
