Please consider adding a feature in the extensions area that will slowly get implemented over time.  My ideas is to indicate the last known compatibility within a separate column under extensions.

For progressive developers they list updates available toward the right but not compatibility with DNN installations.  This could also be done at www.snowcovered.com in the users download section.  Regardless of where, it would be nice to see, at a glance, which DNN community/professional version a module was last tested against.  Could this be a requirement of developers?

There is an element of this in place already - both forge and snowcovered extensions have a "mindnnversion" field that indicates the minimum version required - we pull this information into the extension catalog and it is shown via host->extensions->more extensions -we will be doing some work in this area over the year and I imagine we will add a filter for version number once there is sufficent data available to make it worthwhile.

Super news, would it make more sense to have a maximum dnn version or both minimum and maximum?

We work hard to maintain binary compatibility so modules should only need a minimum version i.e. they should continue to work in later versions. note: some modules do direct database access (which is not supported - instead they should use the API) so they may break but this is the fault of the module developer and not something we plan (at this time) to record.

Excellent. This is great information for choosing modules and developers. Also, assuming your sister site is snowcovered.com, this information would be invaluable. Having a filter of min, max and perhaps even whether the developer used DDA or API would be terrific for quality control.
