Sometimes jQuery crash if hosted in google CDN (i have seen), why?

  • Google domain (or subdomain) may be block in some country
  • Some DNS Server (Open DNS) can't resolved domain
  • CDN server stop for maintain...
  • And more reason...

DNN client script now base in jQuery framework, if jQuery crash will lead to very problems.

Can resolved this problem by

if (typeof jQuery == 'undefined')) {
  // Insert your local copy

  var script = document.createElement('script');
  script.type = 'text/javascript';
  script.src = 'to/local/copy/jquery.js';

  var scriptHook = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0];
  scriptHook.parentNode.insertBefore(script, scriptHook);
}
should we take it to the Core?
everybody think?
