After upgrading from 5.06.03 to 5.06.06 all the pages now get "(Alpha Version: 5.6.6.1)" appended to the page title.

This is happening to others too, if you search Google for "alpha version 5.6.6.1" it shows up on dozens and dozens of sites around the world.

odd, once or twice we've released a build that was still in alpha/beta and this message occurs but we've always updated the build to fix this - perhaps this was not reported in support.dotnetuke.com (otherwise we're not aware of it). That said you can fix this by logging in as host->host settings and unchecking "display beta message?"

I did report it. I've been all through Host Settings, where is "display beta message?"

It was fixed according to the closing comment, so it would appear that either you got a very early copy (or got a copy from someone who had). You can just overwrite the dotnetnuke.dll as far as I remember to fix this locally. Finally, it appears that the display beta message was introduced in 6.0, sorry.

Thanks for the tip about replacing the DNN DLL, that sounds like what I need/want. - Jeremy
