Hey gang.

I was wondering if anyone has gotten DNN installed on Vista Beta 2? I have been trying but it comes up with an error based on the Direct .NET and gives you a command line to execute appcmd.exe migrate "Default Website" but it fails for me. It is supposed to migrate web.config to the new Direct .NET method but its not working.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I can post the exact error when I get home.

I hope this board gets bigger. I have never had so many problems with DNN as I have when trying to install DNN on Vista, it is ridiculous. If anyone has any help please post it!

You can run DNN on Vista without a problem.

4.7 and older versions require that you install iIS 6 Compat. items.  4.8.0 is supposed to support the pipeline mode of IIS 7.

I have a Video Tutorial on my blog site http://www.mitchelsellers.com that shows you how to install on vista.
