I am trying to test my smtp server settings.  If I try and fill out a feeback form, the message says an email was sent but it is never received.  I have also added a third party forms module (Form Master 1.5).  This can be filled out and sends the emails fine.  Are these two modules using settings defined in two different places?

When I go to the smtp server settings, I have my server typed in there with anonymous checked.  When I test, I get the following error:

Mailbox unavailable. The server response was: 5.7.1 Requested action not taken: message refused

In addition, no forms work on the child portal.  When you click submit, nothing happens... never recieve a message saying it was submitted successfully.  AND, on the child portal, I have private registration set up.  It does say an email has been sent to verify the user registration, and emails are both sent to the admin to verify and to the person who just tried to register.  After the user is verified, it does let the user know.

So... email is working in some cases, just not on the Feedback module or in the smtp testing area, and on Form Master 1.5 in some cases.

I am on DNN 4.0.2, IIS 6, Windows Server 2003.

Emails work when the account has a valid mailbox in the email server.

Do you know the truth when you hear it?
