Not sure why you would've gotten warnings about timezone. Being unable to copy files.... let me look at the project again. I do have a special build setup that I use that I modify when I package up the source but I tested against the source download when I did the instructions above.

What version of DotNetNuke are you running btw? I won't be home until late tonight but depending on version I may be able to do a quick build and put up the .dll and login.ascx for download.

I am running 6.1.2. The timezone warnings have disappeared now, but they had something to do with the call being depreciated in dnn 6.1

I found this in the BuildScripts\ModulePackage.targets

<PropertyGroup>
      <DNNDirectory>D:\Websites\DNNDev</DNNDirectory>
    </PropertyGroup>

and I changed it to reflect my local one, but it didnt fix the error.

Heh, Sorry. I thought I'd pulled that info from the project to prevent confusion. Changes to that file don't take effect until the project is reloaded. There's two ways to do that. Depending on how your Visual Studio is setup. In VS if the project is listed as Solution 'DotNetNuke.... ' and then under that is the project header "DotNetNuke.Authentication.ActiveDirectory you can just right-click on the project and select "Unload project" and then reload it. Or you can go File->Close Solution and then reopen it.

Mike,

That seems to have fixed it! Do I just need to copy that DLL to my live site to get it working on there?

The .dll and the login.acx. Make a backup of the current files before you copy them over (just in case).
