Anyone, I just did a search on this topic and found forum topics (complaints) almost every month for the last 4 years.

I'd think that is enough to have had this looked at by now.

You put a module in a pane and then realize, wrong pane. You move it but you have to move it on 200 pages?

The other issue is the Apply to all modules setting. That really should be apply to 1. all modules that are 'referenced/copied', or 2. all modules of same type or 3 all modules in portal

IMHO it would be preferable to get a new UI to control pages to display the module on, e.g. a navigation tree with check boxes and additional options "Show on all pages" (disabling the tree), "apply to all child pages" (of selected items) and "Set as default" (use for all subsequently created pages)
