I am new to DNN, but want to install DNN Community version on our own remote serves.

I have installed DNN C version to our computer "Loacl:Host", but I am not sure how to go about installing DNN to our remote servers.

I can not find anything regarding this process.  The Installation Video seems to be about installing it on your computer and not on a remote serve.

Could anyone advise me on this?

Thanks

Kriss

If you have Remote access to the server you can do the install nearly the same as on your local computer.  But make sure you have configured the DNS for the new Domain name on your server and added them to new site dirction.  You must have installed an MS-SQL Server or have access to an remote sql- server.  Set needed permissions to all the physical folder paths.

On an hosting it is anything different about you have to upload all DNN files from your local computer to the hosting via FTP.

The install szenario should likely the same as on the localhost. Different should be the prepering for the domain name on DNS like for all other websites.  The settings for folder and file permissions, IIS, .NET are the same as on the local computer.
