What is the time length before a (logged in) user session times out? And where can I modify that? And how is that related to the "Remember me" option when they login?

we don't use sessions, what you describe is authentication cookie timeouts - these are controlled via the forms timeout value in web.config. However I recommend you consider using persistentcookietimeout http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Wiki/Page/PersistentCookieTimeout.aspx , though if you don't want to support persistent cooies you can disable the remember me function http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Wiki/Page/Disabling-support-for-persistent-cookies.aspx

How do can I configure my web site so that if a user closes their browser that they are automatically logged out? Does it have something to do with what you said above?

you just need to ensure that persistent cookies are not allowed - http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Wiki/Page/Disabling-support-for-persistent-cookies.aspx

I assumed that you did that by reading your above post but I went to Host Settings and made sure to uncheck this box (Enable me on login controls?). However, if I exit the web browser and then open it up again, I am taken back to my home page but I am still logged in (this happens whether I am logged in as a host or any basic registered user).
