We are using DNN v 05.06.06 (5); and some of our sites/portals are pulling up this error or one's similar to it.  What can I do to fix this?

that often indicates a physical disk failure or corruption (e.g. if part of the database file is on a bad cluster on the harddrive) - see http://blogs.thesitedoctor.co.uk/tim/2010/12/14/SQL+Server+Warning+Fatal+Error+823+Occurred+At+Date+Time+Note+The+Error+And+Time+And+Contact+Your+System+Administrator.aspx for some potential solutions

heres another good reference - http://serverfault.com/questions/28574/ms-sql-server-2005-fatal-error-823 . Note: these folks suggest moving the database or changing server may be a good idea as the 823 is a physical problem i.e. you may have a failing drive -get a backup ASAP
