I'm experiencing the same issue here using dropdownactions.acsx, that is when not logged in a dropdown is visible that has one blank entry and one separator.

If you're still trying to figure this out, read Rob's post further up this thread better than I did the first time. He's showing you a fix.

Hopefully this'll be fixed in the next release.

<%@ Register TagPrefix="dnn" TagName="ACTIONS" Src="~/Admin/Containers/SolPartActions.ascx" %>
<dnn:ACTIONS runat="server" id="dnnACTIONS" ProviderName="DNNDropDownNavigationProvider" />

but this doesn't:

<%@ Register TagPrefix="dnn" TagName="DROPDOWNACTIONS" Src="~/Admin/Containers/DropDownActions.ascx" %>
<dnn:DROPDOWNACTIONS runat="server" id="dnnDROPDOWNACTIONS" />" ProviderName="DNNDropDownNavigationProvider" /> ..."

Thanks, but as far as I can see that is a workaround that bypasses DropDownActions.ascx and uses SolPartActions instead, or am I missing something?

I'm actually using a customised version of dropdownactions.ascx that I have modified myself to use a text Go button rather than an image, the problem occurs using either this or the original dropdownactions.ascx.

Does this fix produce XHTML compliant code?  I'm testing out the upgrade to 3.3.4 now and ran into this issue as well.  I pulled SolPart out because my client required XHTML compliance.

Will the regression in dropdownactions be fixed in the next release?
