Hi Chiefs!

I had a new site on 6.0, upgraded it to 6.1 managed to accidentally delete the database and  then went back to 6.0 old database and restore and upgrade again.

More or less everything is working fine on the site except for one little thing which is the text / html module does not save the content when edited.

I suspected it was the RAD editor, which is what had happened last time, because of which I had to change the telrik editor in the host > HTML manager settings, however, this time round, although the radeditor is selected the component does not exist in the host > extensions list, so to be safe i created a package from another site and imported it.

Now it shows the module however the 'save' still does not work!

Please help!

Hi,

Apologies for the delay, my site log was not enabled, so i enabled it and then checked the log, there is no event logged in the "Detailed Site Log".

I changed the provider from Rad to Telrik and back to Rad again and still there was no log.

Not sure why. Please help. :(

at this point I would recommend either looking at the database queries in sql server profiler or else attaching a debugger to see where the failure is occurring.

you need to use Event Viewer in Admin menu to get errors displayed. If there is no item associated with the error displayed, you might need to reinstall HTML module or run latest upgrade script for it (load .sql file with highest number from /desktopmodules/HTML/providers/dataproviders/sqldataprovider in Host > SQL, check "runs as script and hit execute).
