I am wanting to add the search box that is on the wiwi modules's search page to the wiki modules's home page. Any suggestions? (wiki module is version 4.5.0)

Right now in order to do this you would need to modify the Wiki source code. Though you could add the standard DNN Search Input module to the page.

Dear Chris,

I'm not a developer, but I do have visual studio, so I'm looking to get my hands dirty with the wiki.

Could you teach me how to add the wiki search control on the home page ? many thanks..

P.S. if you get this email, can you tell me what does you wikiaddons on codeplex does and would it still work with the latest wiki..

how come you never packaged it into a release?

As the original reply states, you can't easily add it. You would need to write a custom module that does the search.

As for the addons project, that was something i was going to do for a site that Oliver Hine and I were building years ago, but it never really became anything. The project itself I don't think ever had any real working code in it.

We can add this. The team that is actively developing the Wiki has identified a mans of adding the search box to all wiki pages.
