Hi

In default.aspx is the following line of code:

<input id="__dnnVariable" runat="server" name="__dnnVariable" type="hidden" autocomplete="off" />

But it fails W3C validation for XHTML 1.0 Transitional.

Is it safe to just remove the  autocomplete="off" attribute?

Thanks

Terry

Terry, yes you may safely remove the attribute. AFAIR, this has already been logged in the issue tracker and should be removed in one of the future versions.

please check roadmap on support.dotnetnuke.com, whether it will be included in 6.2.1 or is still open.

Hi,

I have only one error message for the W3C validation and that is this error. I am using DNN 6.2 and still it exists.
Please can you advise us how to remove this code and from where? I just want 100% validated site without issues. :-)

There are 99 Errors for CSS Validating and all are in the DNN framework CSS.
Errors are in these files.
/Portals/_default/default.css
/admin/ControlPanel/module.css

So is it impossible to have a fully CSS validated site with DNN?

Any suggestions?

Tnx
