Hello,

When building a new DNN site I have taken advantage of the Install Available Extensions feature in DNN 5x, which allows you to FTP extension packages to the Install\Modules folder, then check off the modules you want to install all at once, then just click a link to install them all in a single action. I can't seem to find this functionality in DNN 6. From what I can see, you need to install available extensions one at a time. If this is the case, a DNN 6 installation will take me about 10x the amount of time when I need to install a long list of modules. Someone please tell me I'm missing something, or I will need to wait until this show up again in the product.

Thanks,

Bill

You aren't missing anything, it changed in 6.

Though I can tell you how to do it.

1) You'll need file system access
2) Go to the /install/module folder on the file system
3) Rename the Modules you want to install, from something.RESOURCES to something.ZIP
4) Call the URL http://MYWEBSITE/install/install.aspx?mode=installresources
