We have installed both DNN 6.01 and 6.01.02 PE versions and I am trying to test the core search capabilities.  I have enabled the search scheduler and re-indexed the content, but no results are returned.  Are there any known issues with this capability or other configuration modifications that need to be made to enabled for this functionality to work properly ?

Thanks,
Duane

When you look through the scheduler history is there any errors in there?

Also make sure if configured correctly. In the Search Crawler Admin under the Host menu make sure you have the URL paths that you want to index. Then in the results module, under settings, make sure those scopes are selected as part of the result set.

Thank you for your response, Patrick.
The scheduler history does not report any errors.  The Search Crawler Admin URL paths are:

Root URL: 127.0.0.1/dnn
Indexed Directories: c:\inetpub\wwwroot\DNN\portals\5
                                      c:\inetpub\wwwroot\DNN\portals\5

The results scope settings are:

Results Scope: http://127.0.0.1/DNN
                             127.0.0.1/dnn/Portals/5
                             127.0.0.1/dnn/Portals/6
                              DocumentLibrary

What I I have further discovered is that the content of the root url ( http://127.0.0.1/DNN) is being indexed, but the portals are not being indexed.
The only discrepancy that I see in the configuration is the 'http://' in the root url, but missing in the portal entries. Don't know if that is significant, but I have not found a way as yet to force the insertion of the 'http://' preface in the entries.

Any further comments or help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Duane

I am wondering if any solution to this issue was found? I am having a very similar issue. I am setting up DNN 6.02.05 professional. I also am using the Active Directory Provider from the forge. My indexed directories matches the results scope, but whatever I search for, no results are found! Can anyone help?

please note that Search Admin in Host menu does deal with DNN Search Indexer, which is not related to Search Spider, which uses a different technology and is not related to Website search.
If website search does not return any items, clear and regenerate the index (http://www.deutschnetnuke.de/tabid/13...).
