Is there any already thing for that in DNN like module or Configurations
if not
I want to handle time localization ... i have an idea about that to use one common time for all saved dates which will be
DateTime.Now.ToUniversalTime;
but how to show it for user depend on their time place
i know there a function called "ToLocalTime"
but i think local time here will be for server not for users :)
so it didn't handled yet
also i don't want to handle it by javascript code ... ((I want to handle it in Controls binding)) so how can i handle that

Hopefully you are developing for DNN 6.x as there was a major enhancement in the support for portal and user time zones (using the .Net 3.5 TimeZoneInfo class) including proper handling of daylight savings time. Here is a link to a blog post which gives some information:

Not mentioned in this blog post nor in the Wiki are two new methods added to the DotNetNuke.Entities.Users.UserInfo class:

public DateTime LocalTime()  which returns the server's Utc time converted to a specific user's preferred time zone
public DateTime LocalTime(DateTime utcTime)  which returns a supplied Utc time converted to specific user's preferred time zone.


Unfortunately the LocalTime is not yet exposed for user profile property access used by the token replacement API
