I am considering DNN as the solution for our ecommerce but I have a couple issues I can't quite figure out.

I need to be able to retrieve pricing externally. We have customer level pricing on every sku and storing it on the website is just not an option.

The other thing is I need to be able to retrieve tax externally too. We have certain items that are taxable for some customers and not taxable for others.

Does anybody know any DNN ecomm modules that support this?

Thanks in advance for any assistance or direction.

NB_Store is great and all, I use it too. But I'm pretty sure it can't do anything "external" out of the box, I'm not sure any e-commerce can for that matter, but then I don't really understand your requirements so can't really help :). If you have VB.NET knowledge you can modify it to do anything you want (power of opensource). Or you can contact its coordinator Leedavi and ask him about paid support.

Or you may also try to contact other developers of commercial modules and they'll tell you whether their modules support what you need, or how much it would cost to make customizations.

Thank you all for the advice. I still find it quite strange that none of the commercial ecomm packages allow for external pricing. I guess most people either write their own or don't have commerce outside of the websites. We do B2B in addition to B2C transactions so my pricing is very delicate and changes per user. Taxing is similar and is calculated on a lot of other information that is part of our corporate enterprise system. Fortunately I am a developer so coding is nothing new to me. I am just going to write my own. I was hoping I would be able to leverage the categories and already built look and feel of some of the commercial packages out there.

I guess I know what my first retail module will contain. ;)
